Sensory-Friendly Performance at Hamilton High School

It is the goal of Hamilton High School Theatre to make live theatre accessible to all.  This has led us to provide sensory friendly performance specifically designed for children and adults with sensory needs, along with their families.

 Sensory-Friendly performance - Little Women

Saturday, March 28 - 2pm

Tickets are $2 for everyone and are only available by calling Hamilton High School at (269) 751-5185 or visiting us in person at 4911 136th Ave in Hamilton.

What is a Sensory-Friendly Performance?
A sensory-friendly performance is one that has be adapted to provide a relaxed and safe environment for individuals with autism, learning differences, or other sensory and communication needs so that they and their families may enjoy live theatre together.  The quality of the production still aligns with Hamilton High School's high artistic standards, but small adjustments are made to certain technical elements (such as sound and light cues).  In addition, professional staff will be on hand to assist parents and caregivers, and there will be designated activity and relaxation areas in the lobby.  We will also be providing American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation at this performance.
